I just saw The Passion of Christ.
When I came home, my eyes were red, not pink, not light red, bright RED. I was still crying.
However I wasn’t crying because of the blood and the violence and thing. Ok, maybe that had a role in it. But that wasn’t my reason for crying. I was crying because
“For God so loved the world, He gave his only begotten son.”
Since we are born, we hear this. “Jesus died for you…and you… and you over there….and all the sinners of the world. We are all sinners.” We hear that or something similar to that. But just because we always heard it, doesn’t mean we comprehended it. We may have knowledge of it, but we may not have comprehended it.
Jesus didn’t have to die for us. He really didn’t. When the soldiers came, he could have just banished them.
When he was in the Garden of Gethsemane. He prayed to Jehovah, his father, he prayed asking for the cup to be removed from him, but “let it not be my will, but yours”. He knew that he had to die. It was in the prophecies. It was God’s will.
But why would it be God’s will for his only begotten son to die? So that we can be saved. That is how much God loved us. That is how much Jesus loved us.
Love. Jesus taught about love. He spoke with love and acted out of love. He told the disciples as well as us that all the commandments are banded with love. Basically meaning, you automatically follow the commandments when you
1. Love God
2. Love People
“We love because he has loved us first”. Isn’t true? If he hadn’t shown his love to us, we wouldn’t have love.
If he hadn’t shown his love to us we wouldn’t have hope.
I always wondered why God allowed Adam and Eve to sin. And why we were being punished for their sin.
If Adam and Eve hadn’t sinned, we would have. Someone would have broken it. We aren’t being punished. We are experiencing the consequences. However the consequences of something isn’t always its punishment. But there is hope. That hope for us had came out of His love for us.
It’s His unfailing love. The love that is so hard for us to comprehend, because we are imperfect and we aren’t able to bring ourselves to love such as that.
If someone did anything even relatively close to what they did to Jesus, we probably would have cursed them out. But that’s not what Jesus did. He was silent. While we would have cursed them, Jesus blessed them and asked God to forgive them. Can you imagine that? That’s sincere love right there.
When Jesus died on that cross, and even before Jesus died, while he was being flogged with that horrible whip, he remained silent and he still loved them. He knew why he was going through this.
1. It was God’s will. It was a prophecy from the scriptures that had to be fulfilled.
2. The world was such a mess. It still is. However if Jesus hadn’t died there would have been no hope. But now we have hope.
3. If He hadn’t died, there would be no reason for us to try to live for God, because we wouldn’t be able to. We are sinners since we were born. But his blood washed away our sins.
The blood of Jesus is powerful. It’s comes with healing. Jesus was that perfect Passover lamb that was sacrificed for us. Long ago, when the Israelites were in Egypt, the houses covered by the blood of the lamb without any blemish were safe. The houses that weren’t… Death. Jesus blood is the same as that of the Perfect lamb. It is what is keeping us away from death. However just as the Israelites had the choice of using the blood or not, so do we.
He didn’t have go through with this though. He really didn’t. The high priests were mocking him, asking him to save himself. He could have. He seriously could have. But he didn’t. why didn’t he? Because he was thinking of us. Just as the stars have names and he calls them name by name, and the numbers of hair on our head is counted he was thinking of every single person in this world, during his time, from the past and to the future of him. He was thinking of you and I when he died. We are the reason he died. To die for someone, or even many people? You must have major love. That is what Jesus had: major major love.
That is what Good Friday and the crucifixion is about? Right? If I had to make a list of words….
1. Love
2. Humbleness
3. Salvation
4. Hope
5. Faith
6. Full-fullness
7. loyalty
That’s all I can think of right now. So that what the death of Christ was about. Love. The love he had for us as people who are way less than him. “Who am I that you are mindful of you and you love me?” “Who is man that you are mindful of him?” We are nothing. But he loves us the same. Humbleness. He died for beings less than him. He is the Son of God. We are people. On a scale, Son of God vs. All the People of the Earth? Who’s more important? The Son of God. But Jesus, the Son of God humbled himself and died for us, the people of the world. The filthy sinners. He did that out of love as well. Through his death, by his blood we gain salvation and hope. His death fulfills the prophecies and shows he loyalty to Jehovah.
I am not just a person to God. I am someone he cares about. Someone he thinks about. He knows me. He knows how many hairs there are on my head. I am just like a tiny dot, but God still loves me. That is the love that is super hard to comprehend, at least for me. But he loves me. And you. And all the sinners of this world, just as much as the ones who are living all for him.
He loves us so much that he would do anything for us. ANYTHING! even, he would DIE for us.
That’s the amazing love. The unfailing love. The sweet love. The indescribable love.
That is God. Because God is love. This is his love.
God is love and he has love.

Why is Christmas Important
Respected Aachen, Chemachen, and brothers and Sisters in Christ:
Christmas is the most important Holiday to many people. Yes, many people don’t believe that Jesus Christ wasn’t born on December, but they believe that he was born in October or maybe even June. However, the point of Christmas isn’t to debate WHEN Christ was born, but WHY AND HOW he was born.
Christmas isn’t a day of giving and receiving gifts, but it is to realize that this is the day God sent his only son so that we might have salvation. Jesus is our king and Savior; he didn’t have to come to earth to be crucified by people.
Many people exchange a variety of gifts during the Christmas season between friends, and family. We being people of the 21rst Centaury all hope to receive ipods, flat screen TVs, a blackberries, iphones, and many other goodies. However the most important gift given for Christmas is Christ. In 2nd Corinthians 9:15, Saint Paul said, give thanks for the indescribable gift of god. (That gift is Jesus Christ.)
Jesus was not born as an ordinary man. God shows importance to the birth of his son. The Bible shows angels appearing many times, before the birth of Christ to prepare for Him. Before the birth of Christ was the birth of John the Baptist. The angel of the Lord appeared to Zechariah, who was a priest, and told him, that he would have a son, who would be named John. John the Baptist was the forerunner of Jesus. That’s why John the Baptist was born. Then, the angel of the Lord appeared to Mary and told her that she would bear God’s own son. She was told “You have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end.” Then, after he was born, Gabriel appeared again to Sheppard, announcing the birth of Christ. Suddenly thousands upon thousands of angels appeared singing “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace.” The heavens had opened up for man-kind and other generations when Christ was born. An angel of the Lord appeared again, to Joseph, to inform them to fee to Egypt, because king Herod was looking of the new born king. This shows that Jesus was born king. In history, anywhere else other than the birth of Christ, do you see an angel appearing as many times in different places to prepare for a birth for any humans? No king was born with such significance other than Jesus. That’s why Christmas is important.
Although Jesus’s birth had such importance, it still shows humbleness.
Jesus came to earth as a baby born in a mager. Can you imagine a king other than Jesus that was known to have been born in a mager with animals? I can’t. From birth, Jesus was humble. When he was older, he showed humbleness by washing the feet of his disciples. Today, many people don’t have the character of humbleness. We are filled with so much pride. The birth of Jesus teaches humility.
It also shows faith of the people, who waited for the Messiah. Messiah is Hebrew for Christ, which is the Greek word. Luke 2:21-40, talks about Simeon who waited in the temple for a long time to see the one who would redeem Israel, as was promised to him by God. The prophetess Anna was also waiting in the temple to see Jesus. Both rejoiced when they saw Christ. This shows their faith in God and His promises.
Even before Jesus was born into the world, he was important. The birth of Jesus was also a reminder that God will full-fill his promises.
Isaiah 7:14 says “Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel.” In the New Testament we can see Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary.
Isaiah 9:6-7 says “For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace…The zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this.” When you read Isaiah, you can clearly see the prophecies shown about the birth of Christ. Isaiah 40:3 says “A voice is calling, “Clear the way for the LORD in the wilderness; Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God.” The voice was the voice of John the Baptist, out in wilderness foreseeing the one to come after him, Jesus.
Micah 5:2 says “But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Too little to be among the clans of Judah, From you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His goings forth are from long ago, From the days of eternity”. Micah is prophesying the place Jesus would be born in, the one who is from the beginning of creation. Jesus’ birth shows god’s promises being full filled. It is a reminder for us today, that God is faithful and keeps his promises through his son Jesus Christ. The reason that I spoke about these prophecies, is to show how important, the birth of Jesus is. It was prophecied about long before he was born.
Christmas is a time to be thankful that Our Savior, Jesus was born. It is a time to be with family- caring, sharing and loving and just being happy and being together.
Christmas means a lot to me; because it reminds of the greatest gifts I ever received. The first gift is Jesus Christ himself. The second gift is eternal life through Jesus Christ.
Thank you for this letting me say my interpretation of why Christmas is important.
Have a wonderful Christmas, and blessed New Year filled with the spirits of love, joy, peace, and happiness.

fighting and testing. AND IT WAS ABOUT 3 AM!
“Today if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah*, as you did that day at Massah** in the desert” ~Psalm 95:8
Today if you hear the voice of God, don’t harden your heats. God is calling in many different ways. TO each and everyone of us. Sometimes, its through an event in our lives, other times its through the people around us. Yes, by the people around us, I’m also talking about the ones that we can never seem to stand.
Merribah means quarreling. Don’t harden your hearts, like when you did when you were quarelling. Ever got into a huge fight with someone really close to you, and then your whole day is ruined? Ya, that happens with me a lot. But sometimes, maybe God is trying to show us something, or maybe He is trying to show the other person something.
The song that’s stuck in my head right now…idk the name, but it’s by Mandisa, or atleast I think its by Mandisa. Part of it goes talks about the random strangest stuff that happens in your life. Like that stranger that already knows your name…I’m probably one of the most unknown person in a lot of places, because unless I’m really confortable with the people around me, I am dead silent. I guess a lot of people are like that, but I don’t start interacting with people quickly. I’m one of those people that are always just there, in the background always smiling, saying nothing. But after I really get to know the people around me, and they get to know me…I am a completely different person. I always get really hyper and can’t seem to keep my mouth shut anymore. Ok…that was completely off topic. But the point I was getting to was about how people that have no way of knowing your name, knowing a lot about you. And I hope its not a stalker, but they seem to know you, because they can connect with you really easy. The song also talks about something happening, that shouldn’t have and someone being taken before their time, and how maybe God is using this to talk to you. Ok, now I’m rambling and not making sense. Am I making sense?
Massah means testing. We are tested everyday. Everysingle word and every single action. Some days, its really hard. Some days a lot of things happen, that shouldn’t have, and didn’t have to. But then we get mad at everything around us, and by we, im mainly talking about me, because I’m the only person I really know. OR atleast I hope I really know me. Cause it would be sad if I didn’t know me.
Ok, now its 2:42 am, and I’m typing this in the dark, because the power went out at about 1ish. SO ya, I had to do my Spanish project in the dark, well it was on my laptop (and I still didn‘t finish). Thank fully, my laptop is always getting charged, so it usally always has a full battery. =). So I guess I should go to bed now, I have to wake up at 6. So, its almost three, so that means I have three hours to sleep, and about four hours until school starts. And if I want to finish my Spanish and study for math tomarrow (or later today) I have to get up earlier. Ok, now I think I understand what it means to be up all night with homework. ITS NOT FUN!
So, ok, now im gonna bed, I will post this tomarrow (or tonight =) since its today already). Ok…

God Knows...Don't Worry...He saw them
HIYA! My name is Jazz, and I am going to start blogging on here =). Ok, so mainly what I will post is, like what I got out of a personal Bible Study, I might post some thoughts, and use this as a online Journal as well. Well, ok, here is my first blog...I wrote it a hour ago. =)
Ok, I’m sorry I haven’t done this in a long time. I am sorry to myself and to my God. Well, Sunday in church, our I got to stay at my Pentecostal church for the whole service. =) Well, anyways… our pastor was talking about “breath of God” and how vinegar was Jesus taking in the bitter (gar) sin (wine) of the world. And somehow, his main message today became, about how God was telling him that something is wrong. And that God is tring to raise people up, but how devil is trying to take those people down. And how when attacks come against us, its not to us, but to our Father in heaven. Then he prayed for me. A general prayer, but he asked the whole church to pray for me as well, but I didn’t tell him or anyone what was going on, so idk why he did that. Well, these past two weeks, were very hard. A lot of stuff happen. And well…I got to be honset, I have been ignoring God. I couldn’t believe, it when God was willing to help me, and was ready to help me, I was denying him basically. Saying that if he was here, nothing would be happening. And people would be nicer to me and such. Well, anyways, I started spending time in His Word again today. And well, now here I go…
Psalm 94
Psalm 94:9-10
“Does he who implanted ear not hear? Does he who formed eye not see? Does he who disciplines nations not punish? Does he who teaches man lack knowledge?”
How could I have thought that God wasn’t there? Well, ok, maybe I didn’t feel him. But he was there. He heard what happen, He saw what happen, He knows what happen. And HE WILL PUNISH. Noone, else has to go around trying to punish people. God said, that HE WOULD PUNISH THE WICKED. So that means, you have no right going around trying to take “REVENGE…MUHAHAHAHAHAHA!” Verse three says: “HOw long will the wicked, O Lord, how long will the wicked be jubililant”. Then, verses 4-6 shows examples of what the “wicked” do. (I use a lot of quotes…do I?) Verse Seven says: “They say ‘the Lord does not see, the God of Jacob pays no heed’”. That’s why people may do the things they do. They don’t know God, they don’t believe in Him, so they think he is fake, like all the other “gods” made out in this world. BUT GUESS WHAT? MY GOD IS REAL AND YES THE LORD DOES SEE. He is omnipresent. He is everywhere seeing everything. So, don’t think for a second, that God doesn’t see what your doing (either to stand up for Him, yourself, or to ‘go with the flow’.
Pslam 94:18-19
When I said “My foot is slippin,” your love, O Lord supported me. When anxiety was great withen me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.
Like, I said earlier, this past one and half week, was really tough on me. A lot of things kept happening at once. And even though I might have been ignoring God, he still loved me. And he protected me. I know he did, because if he hadn’t just in this one and half week, from the things that did happen, I might have been in a far worse scenario. Thinking about the Lord Saturday, Sunday and today, especially brought me joy and peace into me. I didn’t have to pretend to be happy, cause even though I did get a little upset here and then, I was more carefree than a long time. I didn’t have to get myself to be happy, I was. (Did that make sense?)
Pslam 94:22-23
“But the Lord has become my fortress and my God the rock in whom I take refuge. He will repay them for their sins and destroy them for their wickedness; The Lord our God will destroy them.”
No matter what, God is there for you and me. No matter what, God will always love you and me. No matter what, he will always be our refudge. There is a song in my language (Malayalam), and one of the verses of the song says exactly this: “Even if my mother, who gave me birth leaves me, and even if the whole wide word hates on, It doesn’t really matter cause I know He’s taking care of me.” We don’t have to worry about people getting what they deserve.
So as of right now, I guess what I am saying to myself, and to you (maybe…) is that no matter what happens, God knows it happen, and he will take care of it. Don’t worry about it. He will take care of it. When? I don’t know. So now all I’m going to do, is forgive certain people, ask for forgiveness from others and from my God, and then sit back and enjoy my life.
TOO BAD ITS FILLED WITH PROJECTS, RESEARCH AND HOMEWORK! Seriously, teachers need to realize that we as Eight graders as only 13. We just became teens, We aren’t smart enough for all this homework. IT’S MAKING MY BRAIN GO INTO OVERLOAD! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Ok, then, back to work, but I gotta remember…GOD’S FIRST!
Ok, I’m sorry I haven’t done this in a long time. I am sorry to myself and to my God.

IT’S MAKING MY BRAIN GO INTO OVERLOAD! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Ok, then, back to work, but I gotta remember…GOD’S FIRST!
